Hollyoaks: Tony Hutchinson is found – but will he survive?

It’s safe to say that after Tony Hutchinson discovered Breda McQueen was a serial killer who murdered his son Harry Thompson he was doomed.

He has since been locked up at Breda’s pig farm for months but coming up Mercedes McQueen will finally find Tony as Breda’s secrets begin to unravel.

John Paul McQueen grows suspicious of Breda, Liberty Savage notices something off and it’s not long before Goldie McQueen starts to piece together the puzzle.

Will Breda's secret finally come to light?

Is this finally the end of Breda’s reign? Or will she manage to cover her tracks?

Meanwhile Edward Hutchinson’s daughter Verity arrives in the village, Diane Hutchinson goes public with her new relationship and Warren Fox returns to Hollyoaks.

Also Jesse Donovan asks Azim Maalik to be his and Courtney Campbell’s wedding planner.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 6th – Friday 10 January 2020

The week begins with the McQueen family throwing a second Christmas. While John Paul helps Mercedes for the festivities, he's very surprised when he sees how fit Sylver is – they've not seen each other since they were teenagers.

Mercy is also pleased when her estranged husband arrives and decides to asks if he wants to stay for dinner but she's gutted when he says he has to get back to Grace.

Breda McQueen begins to worry that she's strayed from God's path with her latest vendetta… When Goldie McQueen suggests they head over to Mercedes for 'Christmas' she agrees.

While there, Breda suggests they move the party to the McQueen's house to follow tradition but John Paul begins to questions why she wants the flat to herself…

Goldie is stunned by her mum's nastiness towards Jack when he arrives. Breda even throws her engagement ring at him.

When John Paul spots an upset Goldie he comforts her but when she mentions the pig farm, it rings alarm bells for him. He meets up with Mercedes in The Dog car park and tells her to go to the farm…

Mercedes finds the keys to The Pig Farm and has a nose around but when she can't find anything she turns to leave. She's horrified to the core when she hears a faint groan and discovers it's Tony.

Goldie tries to apologise to Jack for Breda's behaviour but he jumps to the conclusion that she's using her dementia as an excuse because she doesn't really love him.


He gives Goldie his engagement ring and she notices the inscription on the inside 'LL' – for Louis Loveday.

Meanwhile Liberty Savage is shocked when she discovers that Curtis Royle has the exact same doll as Bobby McQueen.


In The Dog, John Paul and Breda are having tea together – they're both trying to suss each other out.

During the Hollyoaks Later episode Mercedes desperately tries to free Tony from his cage but Breda is hot on her tail and armed with a pitch fork.


Mercedes manages to get to Tony but as she's trying to help him escape Breda arrives and hits her to the floor. The serial killer then locks them both in the cage.

Mercedes warns Breda that John Paul knows where she is but she's horrified when she guesses her brother has been murdered.


Breda plans to flee the country and leave Mercedes and Tony to die… Elsewhere Goldie opens up to Sylver about their mum's aggressive behaviour but he tries to reassure his sister that Breda isn't a threat to anyone…

Walter Deveraux holds a vigil to bring the community together and remember everyone they've lost at the hands of the serial killer.

When Goldie spots Bobby and Curtis' hand-made dolls at The Emporium, she begins to piece all the clues together…

Meanwhile in the village, Edward invites Diane to a charity gala but she worries what people will think of them together. He then decides to surprise her with an expensive necklace.

Sami and Imran Maalik meet Verity – Edward's daughter and Tony's sister. Despite all the drama in the village, Verity is loving the scandal happening with her own family – Edward is dating his son's wife.

Diane awkwardly tries to explain that she's just friends with Edward but when he overhears his ego is bruised and he decides to takes it out on Diane.


At The Loft's charity gala, Verity flirts with Sami. When Diane tries to justify her relationship with her father-in-law, Sami tells her it's time they both move on.

Diane confirms she's ready to go public with her and Edward's relationship and decides to kiss him in the hospital corridor.

Sienna Blake apologises to Liberty and Brody Hudson for storming out and says they should give the truth circle another go.

Meanwhile Warren Fox gets tells the twins that it's time to put their family back together…

Sienna is jealous when she sees Liberty and Brody together but she's unaware that she's being followed by Warren. Martine Deveraux urges Sienna to remember the reason Liberty and Brody slept together.

When Jesse discovers that Azim is a wedding planner to asks him to help out with his wedding to Courtney.

However when Azim makes it clear he doesn't think Jesse can afford him, Scott Drinkwell thinks the wedding planner needs to be brought back down to Earth.

Azim eventually agrees to help Jesse as long as Scott is his assistant – who will be at Jesse and Courtney's beck and call day or night.
