Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 14 - Friday 18 September 2020

John Paul McQueen hasn't had the best of times with his ex-boyfriend James Nightingale hanging around while he tries to move with PC George Kiss but next week he's arrested… by his boyfriend.

It all begins when John Paul and George are out and about but things get awkward when George backs away from hugging his new beau in public.

When James spots the awkward encounter he decides to invite John Paul to a client dinner… While there they have a few too many and end up walking through the village with some bottles of wine.

It's not long before they're stopped by George – who is on duty – and when James starts to goad the police officer, George ends up arresting them both.

While they're in the cell together, George tells John Paul that he should use his time alone with James to decide who he wants to be with.

Elsewhere George meets up with his friend Andy but his needy ex-boyfriend Dean ends up arriving instead…
It seems that George isn't as squeaky clean as he first appeared, especially when it comes to light how desperate Dean is.

Meanwhile Edward continues to spike Tony with testosterone, and he's left feeling on top of the world when Tony admits he's ready to give up on his marriage.

He later decides he needs to be cruel to be kind to protect Diane and their kids from his unpredictable self…

Edward is left annoyed when Diane admits she's not ready to give up on Tony just yet… But that doesn't stop Edward from meddling and before long he convinces Tony that his kids have drawn him as a monster.

Tony – believing that his kids are scared of him – decides to take matters into his own hands and sets Diane up on a date with his dad. In The Hutch he tells her that she should be with Edward… Edward then pushes Diane to chose between her past (with Tony) and her future (with him) – but what will she do?

Later Edward emotionally blackmails Verity into winning Diane round for him…

Juliet is stunned when she spots Leela and Jordan kissing in the alleyway – despite the fact that he's meant to be dating Peri.

Juliet Nightingale confronts Jordan Price about two-timing Leela and Peri but before long she's left terrified when she's introduced to Jordan's dangerous drug dealer boss Victor.

Juliet and Sid Sumners have to prove themselves by selling twice as many drugs as normal and decide they'll flog all their gear at Imran Maalik's party.

Sid begins to get annoyed with Juliet who is too distracted by Peri to keep her mind on the job.

Later Peri and Juliet go outside for some fresh air and Juliet ends up kissing her best friend.

Meanwhile Romeo Nightingale is gutted when Cher Winters McQueen friend-zones him.
