Gabby Thomas has been doing everything she can to get Dawn Taylor off the scene in Emmerdale, but soon her scheming catches the eye of Kim Tate, who sees potential.

But despite her best efforts, Gabby's plans backfires and Jamie Tate ends up quitting the job when Dawn is fired.

Elsewhere, Charity Dingle wants to build a better relationship with Noah Dingle but when his medical issues flare up and he takes a risky gamble, Charity's at her wits end.

Matty Barton finally gets to go on his date with Amy Wyatt, Mandy Dingle's perfect family is under threat and Eric Pollard has something important to tell Brenda Walker.

When Bear's wallet goes missing and it turns up in Dawn's bag, she's immediately fired by Jai, but after watching the CCTV footage Kim tells Gabby she's got potential.

Suspecting his mum is somehow involved in Dawn's dismissal, Jamie announces he's going back to work at the vet for good and offers Dawn a job as receptionist, leaving Kim furious.

Later on, Kim confronts Dawn in the street and accuses her of using Jamie for money. When Mack walks by and exposes Kim and Will's affair, Dawn realises she's been lied to and gives her dad an ultimatum.

Elsewhere, after their false start, Matty is excited for his date with Amy but Cain has a warning for him to keep his mouth shut about their secret.

Matty and Amy have fun on their date and there's clearly a spark between them, but soon a guilt-ridden Matty prepares to come clean about what happened with Kyle and Jamie.

In a bid to connect more with Noah, Charity offers to join him for his army training and challenges him to a race, but soon he's bent double in pain and a worried Charity calls over Meena, much to Noah's dismay.

Later on Noah is glum to think that his medical condition might affect his army medical. When Samson says he wishes he could help, Noah has an idea that could get him into a lot of trouble.

Meanwhile, Al has noticed some tension between Chas and Debbie and Charity and vows to get to the bottom of. Paying Charity a visit, Al agrees to join her for a drink in the hope she'll spill, and soon Charity is inviting him upstairs.

Luke's major displays of affection for Victoria are starting to wear thin and after a deep and meaningful with Elliot, Luke tells Victoria he has something to tell her. How will she react?

Elsewhere, Mandy's illusion of a perfect family life comes under threat when Paul begins acting strangely and she's forced to confront her suspicions that something is wrong.

Brenda's touched when Pollard reveals he loves her and doesn't want the twins to think he's just a temporary arrangement.
