EastEnders spoilers: Max Branning proposes to Ruby Allen

Everyone in Albert Square is reeling from the events of last week, but the question is – does Sharon Mitchell’s secret remain hidden or will she and Keanu Taylor finally be outed in EastEnders?
And it's not just Sharon having some drama, Ben Mitchell is worried about his relationship with Callum Highway, after he announces he wants to join the police force, and Denise Fox confides in Patrick Trueman, admitting life with Jack Branning isn't all as rosy as she thought it would be.
But there seems to be some hope on the horizon - after Max Branning is humiliated when a customer at the E20 assumes he’s Ruby Allen’s dad, he realises he needs to up his game to keep Ruby. So he decides to propose to show her how serious he is... Could another Branning wedding be on the cards?

Max proposes to Ruby
Max plans to prove to Ruby he's serious about her by proposing. Jack encourages him to follow his heart, leading Max to pull in a favour with Bobby Beale for the proposal. Ian Beale overhears and revels in winding Max up.
Ian plans to make sure everyone witnesses Max's proposal at the restaurant, but by the time Max realises what Ian's up to, it's too late and he's forced to propose.
Martin and Ben's relationship gets worse
Martin Fowler winds Ben up about Callum wanting to join the police and Ben's fears grow when he realises Callum is seriously considering it.

After admitting he's unsure if they could stay together if Callum becomes a policeman, Callum quickly leaves. Ben demands Martin do another job for him, threatening his family. However, Kathy Beale overhears everything.
Kathy confronts Ben
Kathy confronts Ben about his behaviour and warns him to change his ways but a hungover Ben has no time for Kathy. Witnessing Ben's outburst, Bobby shares his concerns with Callum before encouraging him to pursue becoming a police officer.

Later on, Tubbs ignores Ben's orders to let Karen Taylor off on another payment, and demands she pays up.

Later, Kathy pleads for Lola Pearce's help with Ben, leading her to plan a weekend away with Lexi.

After reluctantly agreeing, Ben's good mood is short lived when Callum has a proposition for him.

Ben's conscience kicks in seeing how much Martin hates working for him and when he spots a happy Martin with Arthur, Ben gets thinking...

Later in the Queen Vic, seeing Martin happy, it's clear Kush feels guilty about something – what is he hiding? After failing to get hold of Stacey Fowler, Martin heads to the Slaters but is shocked at what he finds – Jean and Mo packing Stacey's things.

Elsewhere, Chantelle Atkins quizzes Jack about Gray's fight and is shocked to learn Gray instigated it.

The tables then turn; when Gray admits he's scared she'll leave him, Chantelle is forced to reassure her hubby.
Denise has doubts over Jack
Meanwhile, Denise confides in Patrick about her concerns with Jack – he won't open up to her. After some inspiration, Denise realises what Jack needs and tries to help.

Later when he arrives at work Jack is forced to intervene when a situation gets out of hand in a court room. However he's oblivious to the man he arrests is...
Before any of the above, here's everything that will happen in EastEnders this week…
Mel Owen is excited about Louise Mitchell and Sharon Mitchell's surprise party and hopes everything goes according to plan.
However, in true soap style, it all goes downhill as Louise is stunned when she discovers Lisa Fowler and Mel Owen have been rowing and when she decides to confront her mum, Lisa says Mel isn't coping following Hunter Owen's death. But there's even more shock for Lisa when she arrives at the surprise party and finds out it's also for Louise.
Over in the Carter household and everyone is feeling very tense as the day of Ollie's assessment arrives. Linda is on edge and after snapping at Tina, she manages to cover when Shirley asks her about an empty wine bottle in the bin.
After Mick Carter reads off his list of questions for Ollie's doctor, the landlord and landlady have a heart and heart and begin to reminisce about old times.
Elsewhere Chantelle is left confused when bumps into Denise Fox who mentions a fight Gray was involved in, Chantelle is desperate to keep up appearances and pretends she knows all about it.
She decides to confront her husband about the fight but he says he didn't want to tell her because of the baby. Despite being unconvinced, Gray begs for forgiveness and says he'll do everything in his power to put things right.
