EastEnders spoilers: Ben Mitchell is arrested

He's been struggling with hearing loss

Ever since that boat party on the Thames where Ben Mitchell hit his head, he's been struggling with hearing loss, but next week things get even worse on EastEnders.

It all begins when he receives a visit from Danny (played by Paul Usher) who has a proposition for him, however Ben continues to hide his hearing loss.

Later as Callum Highway steps in and tries to help his boyfriend, Danny discovers his connection with the police and is left furious.

One thing leads to another and an annoyed Ben ends up getting arrested - will he manage to get himself out of it?

Meanwhile as Gray Atkins tries to rectify things with Whitney Carter, Chantelle Atkins hides her injuries from everyone.

Sharon Mitchell struggles to look after Kayden Mitchell which results in Karen Taylor finally being allowed to babysit her grandson.

Elsewhere Jack Branning is left annoyed at his brother, Linda Carter has a showdown with Shelley and Habiba Ahmed is concerend about Suki Panesar.

EastEnders spoilers: Monday 16 - Friday 20 March 2020

Ben continues to struggle with his hearing loss and when Callum suggests learning sign language he brushes off the idea.

Ben is shocked when he gets a visit from Danny who has a proposition for him. Despite struggling with his hearing, he pretends he can hear their entire conversation.

Ben is desperate to keep the truth from Danny but things take a turn for the worse when he's given an ultimatum.

Ben is shocked when he discovers his operation is in a few weeks and could have serious complications...

Callum questions Ben about Danny and suggests he avoid any stress, but Ben isn't having it and storms off.

Callum is confused when Ruby Allen reveals Ben is at the club so he heads over to see what's happening.

Ben worries when his boyfriend arrives but calms down when he realises Callum is there to help.

When Danny learns that Callum is involved with the police he threatens him.

Ben is forced to reveal he has lost his hearing and Callum is just helping out. Ben is furious with his boyfriend and storms off.

Ben ends up having a drink with Hugo and, as the pair grow friendly, Ben ends up stealing his car.

He's later pulled over and arrested by the police. Callum is devastated when he discovers Ben was leaving the Prince Albert with Hugo and makes a difficult decision.

While Chantelle hides her injuries from her husband, Gray tries to put things right with Whitney Dean.

Gray's anger begins to build as he struggles to find evidence to incriminate Leo King - Sonia Fowler is surprised by his behaviour.

As Gray continues to search for answers he makes an interesting discovery - and his confidence grows.

Gray is mortified when he sees his wife's injuries and despite insisting it won't happen again, Chantelle gives him the cold shoulder.

Whitney discovers some horrifying news and as she struggles to process it, Gray vows to clear her name.

While everyone waits for the outcome of Whitney's bail hearing, Chantelle panics when Mitch Baker finds Gray's therapy card.

Sharon breaks down when she discusses Dennis' funeral plans and as she struggle to cope with baby Kayden she decides to let Karen babysit - leaving her thrilled.

Karen breaks down when she discusses Dennis' funeral and after seeing her son's body she makes a heart-wrenching decision.

Sharon thanks Ian Beale for his support but he's left wracked with guilt. He then thinks of a plan to help Sharon.

Keegan's frustration continues to grow following a loan appointment and a conversation with Denise Fox.

Bailey asks her brother to help out with a school project but it soon becomes clear that Keegan's miles away...

Keegan then slams his dad for not being honest with Bailey about the challenges she might face in the future.

Mitch is relieved when his son apologises but Keegan then has a u-turn and once again demands his dad tell Bailey about the challenges she could face.

Later on, Mick Carter is left confused by Mitch's apparent bad mood.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Butcher asks Callum for advice about her problems with her hubby Keegan.

Patrick Trueman goes for a drink with Max Branning, Jack Branning and Isaac Baptiste. However, things get out of hand when Max and Isaac try to out-drink each other.

Jack is left unimpressed by the pair. Elsewhere Patrick hatches a plan to try and make amends with Isaac and it leaves the latter feeling touched.

The following day, Isaac heads into work hungover but Jack fails to see the funny side.

Sheree is over the moon that Isaac and Patrick have made amends. Amy Branning is elated when Isaac reveals he's starting a new job at Walford Primary but Jack is less than impressed.

Linda continues to make progress at her support group and decides to pick Ollie Carter up from school.

Linda apologises to Shelley but is left embarrassed when some home truths are shared.

Isaac manages to step in and defuse the situation and asks Linda to help out at the school.

When Shelley arrives at The Vic, she's quick to tell Isaac about the landlady's drinking.

However, Linda has had enough and puts Shelley in her place. While Isaac commends her for standing up for herself, Mick expresses his pride.

Habiba is left concerned when Ash Panesar and Iqra Ahmed discuss Suki Panesar leaving.

Habiba flirts with Jags Panesar but is left annoyed when he doesn't notice. However, as the pair begin to grow closer, it dawns on him that she's been stringing him along.

Meanwhile when Mitch overhears that his son-in-law Gray was in a hotel, he automatically assumes he’s having an affair.

Elsewhere Jean Slater tries to figure out if Suki Panesar is lying about her terminal illness, Jay Brown prepares to propose to Lola Pearce and Linda Carter is left hurt by her hubby Mick Carter.

Rainie Branning's past comes back to haunt her, Keegan Baker tries to reassure Tiffany Butcher about their future and Denise Fox tries to help Patrick Trueman and Isaac Baptiste make amends.
