Dead To Me is returning to Netflix for a third series

It will be the final chapter!

If like us you've been hooked on streaming sites like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ during lockdown, you've probably binge-watched American series Dead To Me, featuring actors Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.

Series two of the hit show, which first landed on Netflix in May 2020, left viewers on edge as main characters Jen Harding and Judy Gale tried to cover up the murder of Judy's ex Steve Wood.

And with THAT cliffhanger ending involving Steve's twin brother Ben at the end of series two, fans were left crying out for answers, with many theories doing the rounds online.

Well, if you are a fan of the show, we have amazing news for you, as Netflix have now confirmed Dead To Me will return for a third and final series!

Announcing the news on their official social media pages, the message reads, 'The brilliant Dead To Me has been renewed for a third (and final) season!' (sic)

Fans of the show were quick to comment on the announcement, expressing their delight at the news.

After the announcement that series three will be the last, actress Christina Applegate, who plays the role of Jen Harding, took to Twitter to write, 'I will miss these ladies. But we felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women. Thank you to all the fans. We will be getting back to work when it is safe to do so. Much love'. (sic)

Linda Cardellini, who plays the role of Judy Hale, wrote, 'So excited for a season 3! Congrats to @thelizfeldman and to our entire hardworking @deadtome family. Big thanks to everyone who watched. Love to you all.'. (sic)

Although it hasn't yet been revealed when Dead To Me series three will land on Netflix, it's understood production for the final series won't begin until it is safe to do so with the current Coronavirus pandemic.
