Corrie fans spot major BLUNDER involving David the dog
The little pooch was in two places at once!
Last updated 28th May 2019
It's set to be a dramatic week in Coronation Street! Not only does David Platt tell Audrey Roberts what happened to her money, Carla Connor's mental health deteriorates, and finally, Rana Habeeb's killer will be revealed.
As this week's five dramatic episodes kicked off last night (Monday 27th May) viewers witnessed the Platt family going on holiday, but it didn't take long for eagle-eyed viewers to spot a little blunder.
As the Platt family arrived at their holiday cabin, Audrey asked Bethany to take the younger children over to the park. After finally agreeing to go, Max was filmed holding David the dog's lead as they left the cabin.
HOWEVER, just moments later, Bethany's mum Sarah was holding the dog on her lap, leaving viewers wondering how David the dog could be in two places at once.
One fan tweeted, 'Unless max took a lead with an invisible dog on a walk with him I really don’t get why David the dog popped up on settee whilst he was out #corrie'. sic
Another wrote, 'Didn't max just take david the dog with him to the park? #Corrie'. sic
Maybe he has magical powers? 🙈
Despite the little blunder, it seems Corrie fans are LOVING David the dog's appearances, expressing their love for the pooch on social media. One viewer wrote, 'David the dog is the best entertainment I can now get #Corrie', with another writing, 'Loving David the dog 🐶 on tonight’s #Corrie @itvcorrie - he deserves his own best actor award. #dogsontv'. sic
Check out this week's Coronation Street spoilers:
The Platt family set off to play happy families on their spring holiday – all except Leanne, who refuses to join them, convinced that Nick is lying to her.
Out on the boating lake, Gail is sure she spots Lorraine Kelly on a nearby pedalo.
She cajoles Bethany and Sarah into chasing Lorraine in their pedalo – will she meet her idol?
Meanwhile, Natalie has followed David to the holiday park, claiming she has some important news for him.
But Shona is less than impressed when she catches David and Natalie talking, and tells David that she doesn't trust him.
Natalie watches on as Shona removes her engagement ring and tells David that their engagement is off.
Back at the lake, David's conscience is weighing too heavily and he wants to have a heart to heart with Audrey.
Tired of the threat of Natalie telling their secret, David decides to tell Audrey himself that he and Nick took the money.
Nick arrives at the lake just in time to overhear David telling their grandmother the truth – that her grandsons stole her inheritance money.
Audrey is shocked when David drops the bombshell. How can she ever forgive them for such a hurtful betrayal?
Back in Weatherfield, the Platt brothers have some damage control to see to. Nick tells David that if he takes the rap for stealing the £80k, he'll sign over his half of the barber shop.
With Sarah away with her family, Gary is shocked when he finds his stolen passport in an envelope – but even more surprised when Leanne explains it was them who got it back.
The next day, Gary wakes covered in blood, chained to a radiator in Rick's office. When Rick accuses Gary of stealing the passports, will confess to protect Sarah and Leanne?
Having teamed together to buy their own racehorse, Sally, Jenny, Sinead and Yasmeen celebrate with some fizz at the Rovers Return.
But as they stumble back out to the horse box, they realise they've been had when their stunning racehorse is replaced by an old nag.
Later that evening as Sally and Tim prepare to host a dinner party, Sally takes a call from the stable owner demanding she take the horse, as the previous owners are behind on their rent.
Tim assures her he'll sort out the horse palarva while she prepares dinner, but as Sally lays the table she's shocked to spot the horse in their own back garden!
The next day, Tim heads outside to give the horse his breakfast, but is mortified to find he's not there! A wake of destruction left in his wake leads Tim and Sally to the horses whereabouts.
Carla's mental health is at rock bottom, and Friday's episode shows an intense psychotic episode from her own perspective.
Carla's mental health practitioner Scott calls at the house as he's concerned that she's still suffering from paranoia and severe psychosis.
A heartbroken Peter finally realises he's taken on more than he can handle looking after Carla. He gives her her medication, but she secretly flushes them away.
Convinced that everyone is plotting against her, Carla flees the flat and heads to the site of the factory roof collapse.
Seeing a woman in a red coat, Carla is convinced it's Hayley and follows her up Victoria Street and to the back of the factory.
As Johnny, Kate, Michelle, Peter and Roy realise she's missing and frantically search for her, Carla follows the red hooded figure up the unsafe fire escape steps.
At the top of the stairs, Carla catches up with the woman and has conversations with Hayley, Rana and Aiden.
From below her family looks up, heartbroken as they witness Carla hallucinating. Can Peter save the woman he loves?
Coronation Street continues at 9pm every night this week on ITV.
