After battling his alcoholism for years in Coronation Street, Peter Barlow has been undergoing treatment for his liver condition but this week he learns it hasn't been working.

With only one option left, Peter is touched when Simon Barlow tells him he loves him - but Simon is having problems of his own.

Tyrone comes clean to Fiz

With Leanne Battersby deeper that ever in Harvey's drugs operation, she reports what she knows to the police but when Harvey learns it was her who shopped him, she's left with little choice but to skip town.

Nick Tilsey has a big decision to make and Tyrone Dobbs comes clean to Fiz Brown about his true feelings for Alina Popp.

CHECK OUT: Coronation Street spoilers Monday 5 - Friday 9 April:

Leanne is horrified when one of Harvey's dealers, Ned, shows up at her flat and says he'll be using it as a bass for a deal. When Leanne asks about the details, Ned grows suspicious, but with Simon's help they manage to convince him they're on his side.

Leanne makes up an excuse about having shopping to do and heads out to report her what she's found out to DI Costello. Later on Harvey arrives and in a rage tells Leanne that someone's shopped him to the police. Feeling cornered, Leanne admits it was her.

Apoplectic, Harvey announces that they'll be taking Simon on the deal with him, while Leanne's pleas for them to take her instead fall on deaf ears. From across the road, Toyah and Nick watch on, each interpreting the scene for something it isn't.

Later on, Nick reminds Carla that they've got a meeting coming up with Lucas. Carla tells Nick he'll have to go alone as she's not willing to put her relationship with Peter at any more risk.

Meanwhile, Peter attends his appointment with the consultant at the hospital and is crushed to learn that the treatment hasn't been effective - leaving a liver transplant as his last hope.

In Victoria Gardens, Simon tells an emotional Peter that he loves him. Peter comes clean to Simon about the treatment and needing a transplant, but insists he's not going anywhere.

With Leanne having come clean to Nick about the whole drugs operation, Nick relays the news to Sarah and David and explains that Leanne has to skip town to keep Simon safe.

Desperate to give his relationship with Leanne another shot, Nick wants to go with her but know that the decision will mean choosing between Leanne and Sam.

Elsewhere, Tyrone spots a commotion going on outside the salon flat and a number of police officers. Running over, a tearful Alina explains that the flat is being raided after someone reported her for tax evasion.

Tyrone storms home and furiously accuses Fiz of shopping Alina to immigration. While Fiz is shocked at the accusation, she demands to know the truth about Tyrone's feelings for Alina - and he finally admits he's fallen in love with her.

But before all that, here's what's happening on Corrie this week.

Todd Grimshaw has been desperately trying to win the affections of his ex Billy Mayhew, but since he left the Cobbles back in 2017, Billy has met and fallen in love with Paul Foreman and it's becoming increasingly obvious that Todd isn't going to get in between them.

When Todd admits to Eileen that he's considering taking a job in Bromsgrove so he doesn't have to be around them, Eileen is heartbroken that she could be losing her son once more.

The drugs land on Leanne's doorstep

Elsewhere, Seb Franklin is annoyed by Nina Lucas protesting traffic pollution in the street but after the pair get talking it's clear there's a connection. Hearing that Nina is moving on, Asha Alahan seeks comfort in the arms of her ex, Corey.

Michael Bailey has a lot on his plate with baby Gloria's health problems but when Ronnie breaks the news that he could be his biological dad, he doesn't know what to think.

Faye Windass is convinced she's going to prison, Simon Barlow tells Nick Tilsley a hurtful lie and Fiz Brown has an ultimatum for Tyrone Dobbs.
