With the return of iconic reality show Big Brother in 2023, thanks to ITV/STV bosses reviving the show, it's unsurprising that rumours were rife about a potential new celebrity series - which eventually hit our screens at the beginning of March 2024!

With the series coming to an end on Friday 22nd March, here's your ultimate recap of Celebrity Big Brother 2024.

When was the final?

The live final took place on Friday 22nd March at 9pm.

Who was in the final?

Following the shocking backdoor eviction on Thursday 21st March, which saw Bradley Riches become the seventh housemate to be evicted, Louis, Nikita, Fern, Colson and David all made it to the final.

Which celebs took part?

After the line-up was leaked, 13 celebs entered the house on Monday 4th March, including 'house intruder' Sharon Osbourne.

Other names included Louis Walsh, Fern Britton and Bradley Riches.

Who was up for eviction?

Fourth nominations: Nikita, Fern, Marisha, Zeze.

During the shopping task on Sunday 17th March, the housemates were forced to decide who must face the next public vote by receiving a killer nomination, with Nikita choosing to put himself forward.

Fern, Marisha and Zeze were then also put up following a round of nominations.

Third nominations: Louis, Ekin-Su, Levi, Fern, and David.

During the face-to-face nominations on Thursday 14th March, Louis received a massive eight noms, whilst Ekin-Su got four. Levi, Fern and David got one nomination each.

Second nominations: Lauren Simon, Louis Walsh and Fern Britton

During the second nominations on Monday 11th March, Lauren received eight votes, with Louis getting four. Although Zeze also got four nominations, in a huge twist Sharon was able to save her, instead picking Fern to take her place.

First nominations: Gary Goldsmith and Lauren Simon

After Gary received Sharon's killer nomination, Lauren received six noms from Bradley, Colson, Gary, Marisha, Nikita and Zeze, meaning the pair are both up for eviction on Friday 8th March.

Second eviction: Lauren Simon (Tuesday 12th March)

Third and fourth eviction: Levi Roots and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu (Friday 15th March)

Fifth and sixth eviction: Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz (Tuesday 19th March)

Seventh eviction: Bradley Riches (Thursday 21st March)

When was Celebrity Big Brother on TV?

The new series kicked off on Monday 4th March!

Sharing a video of hosts AJ and Will on Monday 19th February, bosses told fans: 'The wait is almost over... Celebrity Big Brother returns Monday 4th March at 9pm on ITV1, @itvxofficial and @wearestv 👁 #CBBUK'. (sic)

CBB aired every Sunday-Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, and STV1 and STV Player for three weeks, with the final taking place on 22nd March.

Each night, the main show was followed by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live, giving viewers an additional hour of exclusive content and seeing the famous evictees first live interview - with the show airing on ITV2/STV 2 and ITVX/STV Player.

How long was it on for?

The series aired for three weeks, with 17 episodes in total.

What channel was it on?

Although Big Brother aired on ITV2/STV2, the celebrity edition aired on main channel ITV1/STV.

The show was also available on ITVX and STV Player.

What day was it on?

Celebrity Big Brother aired every night between Sunday-Friday.

Bosses said ahead of the series: "Celebrity Big Brother will see a new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house.

"Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line and be crowned the winner?"

Where was the CBB house?

Just as it was for the rebooted 2023 series, the Celebrity Big Brother house was located at Garden Studios in West London!

Two days before the launch show, bosses released the first look photos of the house, which has been given a sprinkle of showbiz for the celeb edition.

Who hosted the show?

After hosting the main show in 2023, AJ Odudu and Will Best returned for the celebrity edition.

What did the CBB Diary Room chair look like?

The brand new Diary Room chair for Celebrity Big Brother was unveiled on Thursday 29th February.

How did the voting work?

Unlike the normal series last year, voting in the celebrity series was 'Vote to Save', with fans being urged to vote for their favourite celeb.

Fans were able to vote for their favourite celebs on the official app for free.

Hosts AJ and Will explained the voting system via a video ahead of the launch show. They said: "So we're coming at you with big news. You remember the last series of Big Brother it was vote to evict. This time, for Celeb BB, you are voting for your favourite housemate. You're always going to vote to save."

When did bosses announce the return of Celebrity Big Brother?

Show bosses took to social media on Friday 10th November to confirm that Celebrity Big Brother will be heading our way in 2024, writing: 'The Big Brother House is ready to roll out the red carpet in 2024 ✨ #BBUK'.

Sharing a short clip of the iconic logo, the recognisable Big Brother voice-over can be heard saying: "Celebrities... Big Brother is coming to get you."
