He set to play the role of PC George Kiss

Actor Callum Kerr is set to join the cast of Hollyoaks this week, playing the role of hunky policeman George Kiss... And you'll probably recognise him!

Callum previously appeared in one of Robbie Williams' music videos, playing the role of a stranger at a bar in his hit single 'Mixed Signals'. The actor catches the eye of Robbie's girlfriend in the video, which first came out in 2016.

Whilst the actor has starred in a number of TV shows since, Callum recently revealed Robbie's video is the thing most people remember him for.

Meanwhile, Callum is set to arrive in Hollyoaks Village this week after popular character Nancy Osborne is stabbed whilst trying to break up a fight in the local high school. Playing the role of police officer George Kiss, the actor has been drafted in for the soap's upcoming 'County Lines' drug story-line.

Speaking about his new role, Callum said, "In Hollyoaks, traditionally all the cops have been crooked and bad, but I think I might be lucky enough to be one of the good eggs."

Check out this week's Hollyoaks spoilers:

The week begins with Charlie falling asleep in class after playing video games all night. The next day when he wakes up, Nancy is in his face waiting for an explanation.

Mandy, Darren Nancy and Kyle prepare to deep clean The Hutch. Nancy then announces that she's pregnant but is quick to reassure Mandy that Kyle is her unborn baby's dad.

Darren is clearly thrown by his ex-wife's announcement…

Later, Nancy teases John-Paul McQueen about getting the deputy headteacher job thanks to his dad Sally St. Claire.

Things take a turn for the worst in the school when Nancy tries to break up a fight and ends up getting stabbed.

The emergency services arrive to tend to Nancy. When Sally receives lots of calls from worried parents, Marnie, Misbah Maalik and Leela suggest having a meeting at Salon De Thé De Marnie to reassure the community.

Juliet prepares to leave the village with her mum and steals money from Salon De Thé De Marnie. Soon after, Romeo Quinn and James discover her plan.

James warns Donna Marnie to let Juliet go so she can have a better life but he's left defeated by some home truths he's dealt.

He then bumps into John-Paul and they arrange to go for drinks together. Later on in the week Marnie Nightingale asks John-Paul to help her with James Nightingale and the deputy headteacher is shocked when he spots James drinking wine on the floor in the village.

After Juliet sleeps at the Lomaxes and Romeo blames James for pushing her away, James ends up going on self-destruct mode.

Meanwhile Jordan arrives to see his cousin Sid but takes an instant liking to Leela. He also makes it clear that he's intrigued to meet Peri Lomax.

Jordan reveals to Sid that he has a drug run for him to do but at home, Leela surprises Sid with a guitar. The teenager is torn on which path to follow – Sid or Leela.

Sid is left uneasy when Jordan decides that Hollyoaks will be his new playground and tries to recruit Sid to sell drugs to his friends.

Jordan takes Sid and Juliet to a pub on his estate and Juliet leaves him impressed when she gives one of his friends Mason a run for his money.

Sid is quick to tell Juliet that she shouldn't mess with people like him and is later left relieved when Jordan encourages her to go home.

Sid is completely unaware that Jordan is planning on making Hollyoaks his little gold mine….

Darren invites Toby and Celeste on a night out but they begin to worry that Mandy might remember them buying her silence on the night she was spiked.

As they all head out into town, Darren is the life of the party but they're all unaware that he's hiding something from the group.

The next day Darren paints a smile on his face for the morning school run… Elsewhere Tony Hutchinson continues to have flash-backs about his time at the pig farm.

Darren manages to help him get through his panic attack and later Tony, Luke Morgan and Kyle all open up about their issues but Darren continues to hide his worries.

Liam gives Maxine a gorgeous dress and asks her to help out at the club. At first she does well but things turn awkward when Damon Kinsella arrives.

At the end of her shift Maxine is overwhelmed by the amount of cash Liam gives her.

Mitchell Deveraux is scorned following his disastrous date last week and an unaware Walter Deveraux decides to cheer up his grandson by setting him up with single women from church.

Elsewhere Celeste approaches Mandy with a modelling opportunity and asks her to get a portfolio together.

Although he's been filming since November last year, Callum shared the news of his new job role on social media last week, writing on Instagram, 'It's official.😎 Overwhelmed by the love shown today. I'll do my absolute most to bring everything I can to the show. Thanks again! ❤️' sic
