This weekend the long-awaited new series for Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will start. Ahead of the new series, ITV have released some hilarious photos and a short clip of the moment Ant and Dec decided to prank their Britain’s Got Talent colleague Amanda Holden!

While Amanda was busy selling her homeware range for QVC she was unaware that the cheeky Ant and Dec were behind the scenes making her job very hard! Doing everything possible to cause complications and calamity behind the scenes.

The pair discarded dirty cups and banana skins around the supposedly good as new set. They also glued a drawer and left poor Amanda desperate to cut to an ad break.

Ant and Dec even told one of the production team to call her ‘Mandy Pandy’, and then invaded the set in the middle of one of her broadcasts. Poor Amanda!

In other Saturday Night Takeaway news it's been revealed that this series won't include the very popular Little Ant and Dec. Earlier this month it was announced that Little Ant and Dec (AKA Neil Overend and Haydn Reid) had quit their roles on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway to focus on their studies, however, now the 'real reason' has reportedly been revealed.

A source told the Daily Star, "Little Ant and Dec have outgrown the role, quite literally, and as such won't be returning to the show this year."

The miniature duo have been major favourites of the show with viewers, but ITV have confirmed they have no plans to replace them for the upcoming series.

Neil and Haydn first joined the show in 2013, taking over from the original Little Ant and Dec, James Pallister and Dylan McKenna-Redshaw.

Whilst we're very sad we won't see more of Little Ant and Dec it has been revealed that former X Factor star Olly Murs will be the first guest announcer of the new series.

Undercover will feature in the brand new Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway which returns to ITV on Saturday 24th February at 7pm.
