After appearing on shows such as Emmerdale, Waterloo Road, Coronation Street, Celebrity Big Brother, I'm A Celeb and Dancing on Ice between them, brother duo Adam and Ryan Thomas are no stranger to TV, but now they are about to add presenting to their impressive CVs.

The pair have been announced as hosts of ITV/STV's brand new game show called 99 To Beat, which will air next year.

Speaking about their new appointment, Adam and Ryan Thomas said: “It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s fun and we can’t wait for people to see it! It really is the ultimate family show, and so we couldn’t be more excited to be hosting it together, as a family. It’s a dream come true for us. We can already imagine people at home playing these games with their families as it’s fun/silly/competitive & heartfelt.”

What is 99 To Beat?

99 To Beat is a brand new game show hosted by Adam and Ryan Thomas on ITV/STV.

Bosses say of the upcoming new show: '99 to Beat is the game show that anyone can win, but there’s one rule players must follow if they’re to be in with a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t. Come. Last. As contestants battle it out against each other, each round will see the number of players whittled down until one person takes the top prize'.

The series will be made up of eight episodes.

When is it on TV?

It's understood 99 To Beat will launch in early 2025, alongside Britain's Got Talent, which is airing earlier in the year to fill the slot left by Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

How can I apply?

Applications closed on Friday 28th June 2024 at midnight.

Applications for the first series of 99 To Beat were open earlier this year, with people being urged to apply online.

The application website stated: 'We’re looking for 100 contestants from all walks of life to compete in deceptively simple challenges and be in with a chance of winning a big cash prize. Whether it’s finding a needle in a haystack, screaming as loud as you can or even putting on a frozen t-shirt, the games may be simple but the stakes are high.

'There’s ’99 To Beat’, so if you’ve got what it takes then we'd love to hear from you'.
