Watch Lady Gaga's Eye-Popping X Factor Performance

Lady Gaga left millions of X Factor viewers agape with her eye-popping live spectacle on the results show last night (27th October).

Opening her performance on an acoustic guitar wearing a mermaid outfit, Gaga then danced to the front of the stage and peeled off her shell bra as the dance beats of ‘Venus’ kicked in.

As the song segued into her current single ‘Do What U Want’, Gaga tore off her blonde wig and straddled a grand piano on The X Factor stage.

Breathless after her energetic performance, Gaga told host Dermot O’Leary: "I really wanted to show the breadth of the album," she said after the performance.

“'Venus' is the first song I've produced by myself and I really wanted to share it with everyone in the UK.

"'Do What U Want' is my new single and shows - I hope - my diversity as a writer. I also love R Kelly and he's on the record with me.

“It's really a statement about growing, and becoming famous so fast was one of the hardest things that I ever went through.

"At the end of the day, all I really care about is being a performer and making you smile."

Gaga then ran to hug her one time nemesis Sharon Osbourne after the pair made up at London’s G-A-Y club on Saturday night.

Miss Dynamix became the third act to be booted off The X Factor on Sunday night after losing the sing off to a teary Hannah Barrett.

Lady Gaga’s eagerly awaited third album ‘ARTPOP’ is released on Monday 11th November.
