WATCH: Ed Sheeran announces a new record label 'Gingerbread Man Records'
Brand new music from a new record label.
The 'Thinking Out Loud' singer announced the new label called Gingerbread Man Records on Twitter and Facebook earlier today (25 August).
In the announcement video he says "this is the brand new channel for my first ever record label, hopefully my last ever record label!"
Ed comes across a bit awkward in the video, going off on a tangent about internet trolls, but in essence he wants his fans to subscribe to the channel and leave comments, good or bad and that is what they have done.
So far the response on YouTube seems to be good with one user saying, "My life is now complete! Thank you ed! I feel like this will be my new favourite channel" and another saying, "I love you and your video!! Please marry me Ed!!!! I love you!! Sheerannie froever!!!!!!!! :)"
The first artist to be profiled on the YouTube channel is Jamie Lawson whose song 'Wasn't Expecting That' will be released in the UK on 9th October.
Although from the UK, Jamie has seen success down under with his song 'Wasn't Expecting That' reaching number 3 in Australia and number 7 in New Zealand, his lyric video can be viewed below.
