Taylor Swift Announces June 2015 UK Tour

The 1989 World Tour comes to Glasgow, Manchester and London

Fresh from storming to number one with her pop-tastic fifth album ‘1989’, the incredible Taylor Swift has announced details of three huge UK shows for summer 2015!

The seven-time Grammy winner confirmed on Good Morning America today that The 1989 World Tour will take in eight countries across four continents next year.

After kicking off in Louisiana in May 2015, the UK leg starts with Taylor's first ever show in Scotland on 23rd June before taking in shows in Manchester and London.

The dates are as follows:

JUNE 2015 Glasgow SSE Hydro – Tue 23rd - SOLD OUT Manchester Arena – Wed 24th - SOLD OUT London British Summertime Hyde Park – Sat 27th - ON SALE 10TH NOVEMBER.

Taylor’s tour news comes days after ‘1989’ hit the top spot on the official album chart selling more than the rest of Top 5 combined.

The record, boasting the huge chart-topper ‘Shake It Off’, sold over 90,000 copies in seven days becoming the fastest-selling album of the year by a female artist in the process.

The critically acclaimed album topped iTunes’ sales charts in 95 countries on its release and was the highest selling first week release of 2014.

Taylor's sold out The RED Tour encompassed more than 85 shows spanning four continents, including five sold out shows at London’s 02 arena.

The North American leg alone included 13 stadium stops and saw Taylor play to more than 1.36 million fans in 46 cities in 29 states.

Since breaking through aged just 16 in 2006, Taylor has sold more than 30million albums and 80million song downloads worldwide.
