Selena Gomez wants to put her music on hold and focus on other things
She cancelled her tour last year
Earlier this month Selena Gomez gave a candid interview about her mental health and now she has revealed that she would like to take a break from music.
Selena spoke to Today's Sheinelle Jones when she met with high school students last week as the newly appointed celebrity brand ambassador for Coach.
She surprised some Los Angeles high school students when she dropped into chat to them on World Kindness Day to spread the message of "empowerment and fulfilling one’s potential".
According to Billboard during her visit the pop singer encouraged students to "love yourself first", something that she wants to do more of telling Sheinelle,
"I’m taking time to have a personal life, I’m doing things that I love, that I’m passionate about that I care about…it just makes me happy."
Last summer the 24-year-old singer struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, which resulted in her cancelling the rest of her tour and checking in for treatment.
After three months receiving treatment she was back making music and has recently released a new single with Norwegian DJ Kygo called 'It Ain't Me'.
