Despite it only being a couple of years since Rihanna released her Top 5 single 'Work', it seems like FOREVER since the pop star has released music, and we can't WAIT to hear something new from her.

Rihanna continues to tease fans on Instagram with clips of her back in the studio, but barely giving anything away! Posting a video with a galaxy filter, the 'Diamonds' singer can be heard humming a tune as the camera pans around the studio. This short video has been shared on Twitter by the website HYPEBEAST with a caption reading, '👀 Rihanna is back in the studio'.

Towards the end of the short video, although masked by the filter, it's possible to see the camera returning to Rihanna as she puts up one finger, with many speculating that could be an indication of when the new song or album will be out. However, whether it is one day, week or month is yet to be revealed.

This latest development follows Rihanna's post in November last year when she teased new music from a recording studio.

Although it has been some time since we have heard new music from Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn, it doesn't mean that the singer has been resting on her laurels. Last year, Rihanna starred in the popular film Ocean's 8 alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina.
