Pharrell Williams Joins BRIT Awards Live Line-Up
He'll be rubbing shoulders with Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Ellie Goulding
Pharrell Williams has been added to the impressive live line-up at next month’s BRIT Awards.
The US star joins the previously confirmed performers Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental and Arctic Monkeys at the O2 Arena ceremony on 19th February.
Enthusing about his performance, Pharrell said: "I always look forward to seeing the artists that come together on the BRITs stage. I'm so humbled by this opportunity - performing at the awards will be surreal."
Pharrell has enjoyed phenomenal success in the past 12 months lending his vocals to the two biggest songs of 2013 – Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ and Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ – and scoring his own huge number one smash ‘Happy’.
Although Pharrell hasn’t picked up any BRIT nominations, he is up for Best Original Song for ‘Happy’ at The Oscars.
Bastille and Disclosure lead the charge at this year’s BRIT Awards with four nominations each, while Ellie Goulding and Rudimental follow close behind with three apiece.
