One Direction Promise 'Big Announcement' On Thursday
They've set up a special website for it
One Direction have promised fans a ‘big announcement’ next Thursday (16th May).
Building excitement, the boys’ management Tweeted yesterday: “You could also set your alarms on your phones as an extra precaution... #OneBigAnnouncement7DaysToGo 1DHQ x”
The tweet then linked through to the website www.onebigannouncement.com, featuring a countdown timer which ends at midday on Thursday.
Niall added to his millions of followers: "THE most exciting 1D news EVER is being announced in 6 days!"
And Liam said: "Get ready! Exciting announcement coming from us nextttttt week!"
Speculation is now rife about what the announcement will be. After Ed Sheeran let it slip that 1D have “already finished” the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Take Me Home’, many think it will be an album revelation.
Other rumours include more tour dates or a brand new single, however with the band and management staying extremely tight-lipped, we’ll just have to wait!
