Olivia Rodrigo was officially confirmed to be performing at the The BRIT Awards 2021 with Mastercard in April. The critically acclaimed U.S. singer songwriter, who broke world records with her debut single 'drivers licence', joined the line-up of Arlo Parks, Dua Lipa, Griff, Headie One and Rag’n’Bone Man and P!nk with the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir.

The 18-year-old's monumental debut single, ‘drivers license’, debuted at the Number 1 spot in the UK back in January, and after holding onto the position for nine consecutive weeks, it became the longest-running Number 1 debut single in the UK for 15 years.

The track soon became a worldwide phenomenon upon its release earlier this year, breaking international streaming and chart records as it secured the Number 1 spot in over 25 countries.

Speaking ahead of her performance at this year's BRITs, Olivia said: "I’m so excited that my first time in the U.K. will be spent at The BRITs! My U.K. fans have been beyond supportive of me, and I’m so excited to perform for them on this iconic stage."
