Nathan Dawe is one of the most in-demand DJs in the UK right now, having teamed up with some massive artists over his career so far - such as Little Mix, Ella Henderson, KSI and Bebe Rexha.

2023 was a great year for Nathan, who released '0800 Heaven', an epic collab with none other than fellow DJ Joel Corry and his pal Ella Henderson. Who is Nathan Dawe?

Nathan Dawe is a music producer and DJ from England, best known for his hit singles 'Lighter' with KSI, and '0800 Heaven' with Joel Corry and Ella Henderson.

The aspiring producer has also worked with the likes of Little Mix and Anne-Marie and started DJing when he was just 11-years-old.

Unlike many other artists, Nathan actually started out his music career by releasing remixes onto Soundcloud, sharing 30-minute mashups with genres like pop, hip-hop, reggae, house and bassline.

His debut single 'Cheatin' was then released in August 2018.

Nathan was born on 25th May 1994, making him 30-years-old. On his 30th birthday in May 2024, he shared a series of snaps from throughout his life - from adorable baby to performing on his decks around 11-years-old!

'Cheatin'

His debut single 'Cheatin', a sample of Deborah Cox's 'It's Over Now', was released in August 2018 and featured MALIKA. The track peaked at 94 in the Official UK Charts.

'Repeat After Me'

Nathan followed up with 'Repeat After Me' in 2019, featuring vocals from Melissa Steel.

'Flowers'

Nathan sampled UK garage duo Sweet Female Attitude's 'Flowers' in 2019, this time lending the help from English rapper Jaykae and garage legend MALIKA. Not only did it reach Platinum status, it also peaked at Number 12 in the Official UK Charts.

'Lighter'

Perhaps one of his most popular song to date, Nathan teamed up with British YouTuber and rapper KSI, and singer Ella Henderson on the track 'Lighter' in 2020. The single peaked at Number 3 in the Official UK Charts, Nathan's highest placing to date.

'No Time For Tears'

Little Mix fans were over the moon in 2019 when Nathan announced he'd teamed up with the girls on upbeat track 'No Time For Tears'. The popular single featured on the extended version of Little Mix's album 'Confetti'.

'Way Too Long'

Nathan joined forced with the legendary Anne-Marie and MoStack on the track 'Way Too Long', which features on Anne-Marie's second studio album 'Therapy'.

The track peaked at number 37 in the Official UK Charts.

'21 Reasons' with Ella Henderson

'21 Reasons' was a banger released by Nathan and Ella in April 2022. The song performed well in the charts, reaching Number 9. In May 2023, the single went Platinum, making it his biggest single yet!

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the song becoming his biggest so far, Nathan wrote: '💿 PLATINUM BABY 💿 21 Reasons has now sold over 600,000 copies and is officially my biggest single ever 🎉'. (sic)

'0800 Heaven' with Joel Corry and Ella Henderson

Nahtan teamed up with Joel Corry and Ella Henderson in 2023 to release '0800 Heaven'. The song was very popular and became a Top 10 hit for the trio. Backstage at Hits Live Liverpool, in 2023, Ella told us she was doing a writing camp with Nathan Dawe, and the pair wrote the song just a few weeks before its release.

"This has happened very, very fast," she explained. "The next thing you know he's (Nathan) sent it to Joel, Joel rings me and he's like, 'I want to come on it, we've got to do it together', and then, here we are, it's happening! So, we're absolutely buzzing.

"It is a really fun record," she continued.

'Heart Still Beating' with Bebe Rexha

Serving as the first time this duo have collaborated on a track together, Nathan and Bebe released their bop 'Heart Still Beating' on 27th October 2023.

Speculation over the collab began earlier that month, when Nathan took to his socials to share a text conversation between him and his manager, revealing that someone pretty huge had reached out wanting to 'jump on' an instrumental.

It was later confirmed on 15th October 2023 that he was teaming up with Bebe, with the pair sharing teasers up until the release date.

'We Ain't Here For Long'

'We Ain't Here For Long' was released on 2nd February 2024.

Nathan's latest banger is a song with MNEK called 'Ten (Get Back Up)'. Before the song was released, the DJ explained it was about resilience and how perseverance pays off.

Nathan is a MASSIVE football fan and has been a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa. The DJ often posts about his beloved club and even wore a Villa shirt to The BRIT Awards under his suit in February 2021.

Ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League season, Nathan was asked by the West Midlands club to be the face of their brand new kit launch.

'West Ten' rapper AJ Tracey is a massive Spurs fan! Not only did he perform at the club's 2019 Nike kit launch, he's also been spotted in the crown and in the dressing rooms, getting photos with plays such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min.

Drake - Chelsea

Drake is a massive Chelsea fan and even had a kick about with the team before a Champions League match back in 2012.


The rapper was later photographed in the dressing room with Chelsea legends such as John Terry, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba.

Liam Payne - West Brom

Liam Payne was often spotted attending West Brom games during his time in One Direction, and when his son Bear Grey Payne was born in 2017, the club even mocked up a little shirt for him - cute!

Aitch - Manchester United

Not only is Aitch good mates with former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, the rapper also launched the club's 2019 home kit!

Perrie Edwards - Liverpool

Despite also having a soft-spot for her hometown team Newcastle United, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards showed massive support for Liverpool when her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played for them.

When Liverpool won the Champions League back in 2019, Perrie was pictured celebrating on the pitch with her man, and of course THAT trophy!
