Mumford & Sons Bassist Posts Photo After Brain Operation
He thanks fans for their well wishing
Mumford & Sons star Ted Dwane has thanked fans for their support as he recovers from brain surgery.
The bassist posted a photo of himself with a shaved head on the band’s official website along with a brief message thanking fans:
Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.
Ted xx
Dwane underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from the surface of his brain last week after feeling unwell for several days.
The BRIT Award winning band immediately postponed a string of shows in the US while Dwane recuperated.
Last Tuesday, Mumford & Sons wrote: "Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment.
"The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery."
Mumford & Sons headline the final night of Glastonbury on Sunday 30th June.
