Eminem, Miley Cyrus and One Direction were among the big winners at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam last night (10th November).
On the day he topped the charts in the UK with The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem scooped the Best Hip-Hop and Global Icon awards at the Ziggo Dome ceremony.
One Direction were honoured with the Best Pop and Best UK & Ireland honours, while Harry Styles triumphed in the Best Look category.
Just like Eminem, Miley Cyrus performed twice on the night and also took home the Best Video gong for ‘Wrecking Ball’.
Other winners at the redfoo hosted event included Beyoncé, Linkin Park, Bruno Mars, Avicii, Green Day, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
Despite dominating the nominations with five nods, Justin Timberlake failed to win in any of the categories.
Ellie Goulding, Ylvis, Dizzee Rascal, Will Ferrell (as Ron Burgundy), Iggy Azalea, Arian Grande, Afrojack and Rita Ora were among the big name stars dishing out awards on the night.
