Last month, Marshmello dropped the surprise collaboration with the British band Bastille, 'Happier', and now they have released the VERY emotional music video to accompany their popular song.

The music video follows a young girl who gets a puppy for her birthday, over the years the girl and her pet are inseparable creating a strong bond, but then, as time passes, the - now much older - dog, has to be rushed to the vets.

The music video stars iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove as the teenage girl with braces, who finds herself the last to be picked in the football team at school. Despite having the worst day at school her trusty friend is there for her when she returns home.

Marshmello previously revealed how he felt after receiving the lyrics from Bastille saying, 'When I was sent Happier for the first time, I was taken back. The amount of emotion that you could feel in the lyrics was crazy.'

He continued, 'As I listened to the song more and more, it reminded me of so many things I’ve been through in my life.'

'Happier' is the second collaboration this year from the American DJ Marshmello, who has yet to reveal his identity. Marshmello previously teamed up with Anne-Marie on the anti-Valentine's anthem, 'FRIENDS'.

Take a look at some of the biggest collabs we've had this year:

Camila Cabello and Young Thug

Former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello dominated the charts with her massive collaboration with Young Thug on the catchy single 'Havana'.

Last year, Marshmello also had two huge collaborations, 'Silence' with Khalid and 'Wolves' with Selena Gomez, both of which reached the top 10 in the UK. Meanwhile, Anne-Marie has seen great success with her single 'Ciao Adios', the follow-up to her solo single 'Alarm' and the Clean Bandit song 'Rockabye' which featured her vocals. 'Ciao Adios' was Anne-Marie's first solo number one in the UK.
