Liam Payne Says Sorry After He’s Pictured Standing On 360ft Ledge
"It was dangerous and irresponsible", he says
One Direction’s Liam Payne has apologised after a picture emerged of him standing on the ledge of his 34th floor apartment.
Posted on Twitter by one of his friends, the image shows Liam standing on the precarious 360ft high platform at his skyscraper apartment in East London.
When the photo started circulating last night, Liam immediately took to Twitter to apologise and call the incident “stupid and irresponsible.”
He told his 15million followers: “You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken.
“It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous.”
In a string of Tweets before apologising, Liam also asked his friends to stop hanging outside his home after the address was revealed.
The 20-year-old wrote: “I know my friends have tweeted a lot of pictures of my house the past few days but can people please stop coming and waiting outside.
“I'd just like to be able to walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends, not feel bad for not wanting to take a picture.
“Sorry if I've been rude to anyone but I've come to realise if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday xxx hope everyone's good.”
