New dad Liam Payne could be about to drop some new music very soon.
Excitement is brewing online as Liam has been reportedly been spotted meeting One Direction songwriter Ed Drewett. Ed wrote 'Best Song Ever', 'Steal My Girl' and 'History' for Liam's former group, so could he be writing some solo hits for Liam?
Earlier this month a source talking to Page Six said Liam was expected to "have a new single out in May", however nothing has been confirmed, but if that's true then we could be just a few days away from some new music.
Since the birth of his son the 23-year-old singer has returned to Los Angeles where he is currently working on new music and updating his Instagram account with regular pics of his time in the sunshine state.
Although Cheryl only gave birth a few weeks ago according the Daily Star Liam's temporary relocation to California is fine with Cheryl.
"Itâs not a problem Liam being in LA â they are constantly in touch," a source told the Daily Star. "She wants his solo career to be a huge success."
The pair have yet to name their baby son and have just six days left to register his birth at their local register office.
