Lady Gaga Balances Scorpion On Her Face For Venus Artwork
It's one of three grisly Steven Klein creations
Lady Gaga has unleashed the three macabre pieces of artwork adorning her track ‘Venus’.
The multiple covers shot by ‘Alejandro’ and ‘Fame’ director Steven Klein have been unveiled just in time for Halloween next week.
The first creation, above, depicts a ghostly white Gaga with a nasty gash on her left side and a giant scorpion (we hope it’s fake!!) balancing on her face.
Venus 002 features a bat laid out flat on an autopsy table, while 003 sees Gaga go completely naked in the bathroom with a Taco crudely Photoshopped onto her mouth.
Lady Gaga was originally intending to release ‘Venus’ as her second single but changed it to her R Kelly collaboration ‘Do What U Want’ due to the overwhelming response from her Little Monsters.
Last night, Gaga confirmed she’ll be releasing teasers of ‘ARTPOP’ songs over the next two weeks – check out the ‘Venus’ snippet below!
She wrote on Twitter: “I composed ARTPOP to be a full experience, we are releasing all these songs and snippets to give you a more complete picture of the album.
“You can of course always choose your favorite songs off an album but it was designed be a trip, heard from start to finish.”
‘ARTPOP’ is released on 11th November.
