She was a ‘Mixer’ for 10 years, but after Jesy Nelson made the tough decision to leave her Little Mix band mates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock last year, it looks like there’s a brand new era pending.

Jesy, who has been teasing her own solo music in the last few weeks, has announced to fans her brand new fandom name after her loyal fan base pretty much created it for her.

After uploading a studio dump on her grid, Jesy took to her Instagram Story to write, ‘So @downanddirtyjesy has just told me you’ve all decided to call yourselves the "Nelsonaters". And I bloody love it’. (sic)

However, 29-year-old Jesy was later forced to remind her followers to be kind after a number of squabbling amongst the fandom. She later wrote, ‘Guys call yourselves whatever you want.

‘Please let's not get nasty to others who liked it it's not that deep it's supposed to be fun. Anyway I look forward to seeing what you all decide.' (sic)
