The 2019 GRAMMY Awards took place last night at Staples Center in Los Angeles, hosted by none other than the supremely talented Alicia Keys. After the nominations were announced back in December last year, fans were surprised to see that, despite Ariana Grande's amazing comeback, the 'thank u, next' singer only picked up two nominations, whilst Taylor Swift only picked up one.

With some incredible performances from the likes of Camila Cabello and a collaboration between Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes - as well as Alicia Keys herself - it was a spectacular night for the world of music.

Of course, no awards ceremony is complete without a hugely varied wardrobe from all the stars - here are some of the most jaw-dropping outfits of the night.

Kylie Jenner

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan went for a cold shouldered look, and even had some gloves sewn into the piece. Well, it is February!

Lady Gaga

No 'best dressed' gallery is worth its salt if it doesn't mention Lady Gaga - but surprisingly, she didn't wear one of the most eccentric outfits of the night!

Cardi B

Cardi B outdid herself and became some sort of pearl/oyster for the GRAMMYs 2019 - also using her red carpet moment to prove her marriage to Offset is most certainly back on.

Hennessy Carolina

Cardi's sister Hennessy Carolina was also in attendance and was determined to look equally as eye-catching in huge puffy sleeves with her legs on display.

Meghan Trainor

The recently-married 'All About That Bass' hitmaker brought back the power shoulders.

Janelle Monáe

'Make Me Feel' songstress Janelle Monáe looked absolutely amazing on the red carpet in her wrap dress that somehow defied gravity.

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha looked sensational on the red carpet, wearing a crimson layered dress.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa looked every inch the femme fatale in her silver dress on the red carpet before picking up the coveted Best New Artist award.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry certainly turned heads in this pink gown.

Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo's enviable style was displayed in full force.

St. Vincent

St. Vincent looked amazing on the red carpet AND took home two awards for her new album, 'Masseduction'.

Congratulations to the winners!
