Rapper Big Sean will be featuring on Coldplay's latest single which is due to drop this Friday, called 'Miracles (Someone Special)' this single is not to be confused with their 2014 song 'Miracles'.

This will be the first time the British band has collaborated with a rapper in nearly 10 years, the last time being Jay-Z on Coldplay’s hit 'Lost+' in 2009.

Although Big Sean is a rapper this new single has been described as a 'pop song' and 'a real evolution of their sound', so we can't wait to play it for you. Big Sean has featured on a number of tracks recently, namely Calvin Harris' 'Feels' which also featured Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry.

'Miracles (Someone Special)' will be on Coldplay's five-song EP 'Kaleidoscope' which they announced last year.

After a delay of a few weeks the EP will also drop on Friday and includes a remix of their number 2 single with The Chainsmokers 'Something Just like This'.

'Kaleidoscope' also includes a track called 'A L I E N S' co-written by Brian Eno. All proceeds from this song will be donated to an international NGO which rescues migrants called Migrant Offshore Aid Station.

Coldplay are currently on their 'A Head Full of Dreams Tour' and performing across the UK before continuing to Paris and the USA. Last night (11th July) the band performed 'Don't Look Back In Anger' in Cardiff accompanied by their fans.

You can listen to 'Miracles (Someone Special)' for the first time just after 8.30am on Friday 14th July on the Clyde 1 Breakfast Show and then throughout the day.

Listen on air, online or on DAB in selected areas.
