As we're just a couple of months away from this year's Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Liverpool, the excitement is brewing. We already know who will be hosting the prestigious singing competition, along with the UK's representative Mae Muller.

The UK is hosting Eurovision this year on behalf of Ukraine, following the country’s victory last year. And for the first time ever, the Eurovision Grand Final will be shown live in cinemas across the country!

This year's theme is 'united by music' and we're sure that fans who decide to take a trip to their local cinema to watch the show won't be disappointed. In May, more than 500 cinemas across the country will be showing Eurovision live.

Speaking about the event, John Travers of CinemaLive, distributors of the event in cinemas said: "We’re delighted to be working with the BBC to bring Eurovision’s Grand Final live into cinemas across the UK for the first time ever!

"We want audiences to enjoy themselves, come along in groups, get your fancy dress on, and come together to enjoy this historic occasion on the big screen!"
