Ella Henderson releases Ibiza-ready collab with M-22

Already this year we've had some fantastic tunes from Ella Henderson, including her collaborations with David Guetta and Becky Hill on 'Crazy What Love Can Do', and '21 Reasons', with Nathan Dawe. Now the singer is back with a brand new track called 'Heartstrings', featuring British-German DJ duo M-22.
The upbeat new track, which was written in Ibiza, appears to be ready to be played on the White Isle, accompanied by a brand new music video.

After hearing the new track, fans were quick to comment their love for 'Heartstrings'.
One wrote: 'This is an iconic collab... M-22 Always delivers production and amazing vocalists, and I can say they didn't disappoint in picking one of the most iconic artists. WOW!' (sic)
Another added: 'Ella, you sound and look phenomenal! And M-22 what a song!', with another adding: 'Amazing, love this'.
When did 'Heartstrings' by Ella Henderson get released?
Although the song was due for release on Friday 9th September, the release date was put back until Tuesday 13th September, following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Taking to her Instagram page, Ella told fans the day before release: 'Following on from the IG stories I’ve just posted (pls watch if you haven’t seen!)…it didn’t feel right to post this on Friday but I would love to introduce you all to my new single with the @m22official lads, ‘Heartstrings’. It is a heart felt dance track that I hope can help lift your spirits at this sad time. The track is out everywhere now (link in bio) and the official video will be dropping 8.30am tomorrow ❤️🎻 Big love. E.Xx' (sic)
When was 'Heartstrings' announced?
Ella first started teasing her new music on Wednesday 7th September with a short video featuring a clip of the song, along with duo M-22 on keyboards.
Ella then followed up her tease, with a photo of the trio and the single's artwork, and finally another video. This second video shows the name of the song 'Heartstrings' written in sand, as the song plays in the background.
Ella is well-known for her hits such as 'Ghost', 'Glow', 'Glitterball' and 'Let's Go Home Together' with Tom Grennan, meanwhile, M-22 are a British-German duo who have produced remixes for well-known acts such as Avicii, Sigala, and Sigma.

'Let's Go Home Together' was a Top 10 hit in 2021 for Ella and Tom Grennan. Ella co-wrote the song with James Arthur and a songwriting team.
The music video shows Ella and Tom sitting separately with their own friends in a pub, before coming together after a few drinks.

Nathan Dawe and Ella joined forces for this club banger. '21 Reasons' samples the 2007 hit by Alex Gaudino, 'Destination Calabria' and features Ella's distinctive vocals.

In 2019, Ella teamed up with Jax Jones on the fantastic hit 'This Is Real'. The song reached Number 9 in the UK and was co-written by the pair, along with some other songwriters.

'Glow' was Ella Henderson's second single to be released. It dropped in 2014 and the song was another Top 10 hit for the singer. It has now had 13 million views on YouTube.

4) David Guetta, Ella Henderson and Becky Hill 'Crazy What Love Can Do'
Released in 2022, this iconic collab saw the powerful vocals of both Ella Henderson and dance music legend Becky Hill join forces with French DJ David Guetta. 'Crazy What Love Can Do' soared up the Charts, hitting Number 5 in the UK Singles Chart and Number 2 in the UK Dance Chart.

3) Sigma featuring Ella Henderson 'Glitterball'
Ella featured on Sigma's huge hit 'Glitterball' back in 2015, the song got to Number 4 in the UK and was the first time Sigma and Ella had collaborated. The music video has now had over 18 million views on YouTube.

Ella Henderson teamed up with DJ duo Switch Disco to release 'React'. The song samples the 90s classic from Robert Miles, 'Children', and was a Top 5 hit in the UK. The music video has now had more than 4.8 million views.

Ella Henderson's debut single 'Ghost' gave her a Number 1 single in the UK and the music video has now had more than 112 million views on YouTube. The song was released back in 2014 and co-written by Ella.
