If you love dance tunes, then over the first weekend in May we had the perfect weekend for you. Throughout the weekend would have heard some of the biggest dance throwbacks around, from Livin' Joy's 'Dreamer', to Sigala's 'Sweet Lovin'', and David Guetta's 'Sexy Chick' to Booty Luv's 'Boogie 2nite'.

Sigala is not his real name

Sigala's real name is Bruce Fielder.

He hasn't always been a DJ

In his younger years, he started out playing in unsigned bands, before finding work as a producer.

Sigala grew up in East Anglia

Sigala was born and raised in Norfolk.

Not all of Sigala's song were written in a studio

Sigala wrote the Number 1 track 'Easy Love' in his bedroom.

Sigala went to university

He studied Commercial Music at the University of Westminster and came out with a First Class Honours Degree.

Sigala can play a musical instrument

His favourite hobby is playing the piano and has described himself as 'A piano player at heart'.

Sigala hired some dancers from a TV show

The DJ hired the two young dancers for his 'Easy Love' video after seeing them perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Sigala has worked with some huge artists

The DJ has worked Craig David, DJ Fresh, Fuse ODG and Nile Rodgers amongst others.

Sigala has written for other artists

Sigala helped to write Ella Eyre's smash hit 'Good Times' alongside Sigma.
