Chris Brown Goes Into Rehab
His representatives confirm he’s in an LA treatment centre
Chris Brown has entered rehab after his arrest on Sunday morning.
The 24-year-old singer and another man, believed to be his bodyguard, were arrested and charged with misdemeanour after an alleged altercation in a Washington DC hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning (27th October).
After being released from custody on Monday, Brown voluntarily entered a rehab facility in Los Angeles last night to "gain focus and insight into his past and recent behaviour".
His representative told CNN: "Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behaviour, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
Hinting at going into rehab, Brown told his 13million Twitter followers yesterday: “In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where u never been!!!! #OHB! CBE!”
Chris Brown is due in court on 20th November for a probation hearing in relation to his attack on former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
The singer is set to release his sixth studio album ‘X’ in December.
