Calvin Harris and The Weeknd release futuristic music video for latest collab 'Over Now'

Finally after teasing their collab for a week, Calvin Harris and The Weeknd have finally dropped their latest single 'Over Now' and we'll be playing it on Clyde 1.
As well as releasing the exciting new collab, the pair dropped the official music video which showcases a futuristic look. The video is CGI-animated and directed by Emil Nava, who has a huge back catalogue of music videos including, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's 'I Don't Care' and Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa's 'One Kiss'.

The video to the chilled-out song features a CG version of The Weeknd dressed like a disco ball in various locations including a CG cityscape, a forest and even in space!
The new track is a follow-up to Calvin's release under his alter-ego Love Regenerator in January 2020. It is also The Weeknd's follow-up to his TikTok and lockdown favourite 'Blinding Lights', 'In Your Eyes' and 'Smile'.
News of the song was first announced by The Weeknd when he shared an old photo of himself with the Scottish DJ backstage at Coachella saying, 'don’t get too confused...'.
Over the following days, both Calvin and The Weeknd shared more details of the new song including the artwork, name and release date. Calvin then shared even more details on Instagram, despite deleting all of his tweets.
Calvin's posts included a psychedelic image of a butterfly on a mushroom, and a second post with the DJ in front of the Moon.
