Avicii Cancels All Upcoming Tour Dates Due To Health Issues
He's still recovering from surgery earlier this year
Swedish superstar DJ Avicii has cancelled all his upcoming tour dates and promotional activities due to continued ill health.
The 25-year-old ‘Wake Me Up’ star, real name Tim Bergling, underwent surgery to remove a painful gallbladder and appendix back in March forcing him to axe an appearance at Ultra Music Festival.
Now, Avicii’s representatives have confirmed that he will miss all forthcoming events as he recovers from lingering health issues related to the surgery.
It’s understood that he’s recuperating with his family in Sweden rather than his lavish Los Angeles pad.
Dates affected include Tomorrowland Festival later this month and his lucrative residencies at Las Vegas nightclubs XS and Encore Beach Club.
One of the richest DJs on Planet Earth right now, Forbes Magazine estimates that Avicii earned almost £17million last year from his performances and music.
