Pop star Ariana Grande has been teasing new music since the beginning of the year, so fans have obviously been getting super excited, and earlier this week a source told Variety we should expect new music from her on the 27th April.

Since the date was 'revealed' fans of the pop star have been speculating as to what it could be called. And seemingly adding to the hype, Ariana recently took to her Instagram Story to tease her new music, but subsequently removed the post!

What could this all mean?

According to an Ariana fan account, which posted a screengrab of her Instagram Story, Ariana posted a photo with the handwritten words 'No tears left to cry', captioned, 'None of this would be possible without my amazing team. Soon babes <3'.

Some of the pop star's fans also spotted the singer wearing a top with the same words, on a recent trip to Disneyland, posting the photo on Twitter.

Although Ariana's Instagram Story is no longer available it is widely thought that her new single will be called 'No Tears Left To Cry' and will be featured on her forthcoming fourth studio album.

At this stage it is all speculation, however one fan's tweet, where he puts together the 'evidence' for the new single has received over 4K likes.

Other than posting to her Instragram Story, Ariana has been quiet on her social channels, with her last post on Instagram being late last year. She has however appeared on other singer's Instagram pages, including Dua Lipa's.

Back in January, Dua posted a photo of the pair on Instagram with just an emoji as a caption, '💕', fuelling rumours the pair could be due to release a collaboration.

Four months later and a very short clip has been leaked online, thought to be the collaboration between the pair. This clip, which has been circulating on social media, is thought to be called 'Bad To You', obviously different to the latest apparent tease.

However, nothing has yet been confirmed by either singer, so it looks like we might have to wait until the 27th April for more to be revealed.

The follow-up to her 2016 album 'Dangerous Woman' is expected to include collaborations from Max Martin and Pharrell Williams amongst others. It is believed that the album is a deeply personal album, inspired by the singer's experiences over the past two years, including the Manchester bombing on the 19th May 2017, which happened after one of her concerts at the Manchester Arena.

While we're waiting to hear more about her album take a look at some of the biggest collaborations from last year in our gallery below.

Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé: 'Perfect'

After delighting fans with his album track 'Perfect', Ed Sheeran decided to give it a little Christmas sprinkle when he teamed up with Beyoncé for a new version of the single.
