TRNSMT Festival 2022, what a weekend! The huge festival returned to Glasgow Green from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July with some incredible shows. With 50,000 people in attendance and the likes of Paolo Nutini and Lewis Capaldi headlining, it was an absolutely amazing event.

Clyde 1 was there capturing some of the biggest and best moments, including the return of the TRNSMT Taxi and some hilarious moments with an undercover Callum Beattie.

Here are some of our favourite moments from TRNSMT Festival 2022...

Callum Gallagher and Jonny Campbell at TRNSMT

TRNSMT Taxi

We brought the TRNSMT Taxi back for 2022! Is there really a better way to start the day than being pushed around in a wheelbarrow?

Callum Beattie undercover at TRNSMT

Did you spot someone who looked a bit like Callum Beattie with a dodgy moustache and glasses around the TRNSMT arena?

Well it turns out it was Callum Beattie, despite what his T-shirt says...

Callum Beattie crowd-surfing

After chatting to some of the festival-goers with us, Callum Beattie put on an energetic performance, which included him crowd-surfing, taking his top off, and climbing up the side of the stage!

After nicking of one the steward's hats, he didn't have it on for long before someone in the crowd got their hands on it.

The TRNSMT crowd singing 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie'

There were plenty of great tracks to get the crowd warmed up before Sigala came on stage, including a bit of ABBA, but there's nothing better for a Scottish crowd than belting out 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie'.

Paolo Nutini singing 'Caledonia' at TRNSMT

It was incredible to see Paolo return after his hiatus, playing some of his beloved classics as well as some songs from his new album as he headlined on Friday. Everyone got involved with his cover of 'Caledonia' and it was a smashing end to Day 1.

Since everyone had such a good time singing 'Caledonia', we took to the crowds at TRNSMT on Saturday for Round 2!

The Strokes improvising a new song

The Strokes headlined on Saturday night and had some technical difficulties during their show, which led to a bit of improvising...

Lewis Capaldi closes TRNSMT

There was no better way to end the weekend than with Lewis Capaldi singing 'Someone You Loved'. He played an incredible set and had the whole crowd singing along to every track.
