The amazing generosity of people in Glasgow and the west's been highlighted again as you helped make a family's dream of seeing Lewis Capaldi live come true.

Karen from Coatbridge called Bowie at Breakfast in tears this morning to tell us how her son Cal took an epileptic fit just before the show started at the Hydro in Glasgow last night.

Within 20 minutes of her speaking on air, an anonymous listener heard her story and came to Clyde 1 HQ to donate their tickets for tonight's gig.

Karen was only looking for someone who could sell her tickets for tonight's show in her plea on air - before the generosity of the people in the city took over.

The kind-hearted listener didn't want to be named and was happy for the tickets to be handed over at no cost.

Cal's dad Tony later called to show his appreciation for the amazing gesture.

Tony said: "I'm from Leeds originally, I've been up here for 29 years - this would never happen down in England.

"I thought things like this didn't happen to people like us - it's restored my faith in humanity."

We hope you enjoy the show tonight, Cal!

Bowie@Breakfast is on air Monday-Friday 6-10am on Clyde 1.
