Calvin Harris has been confirmed for this year's Creamfields, the annual dance music festival that takes place in Daresbury, Cheshire. In the years that Creamfields has been in existence, the Scottish DJ has become a firm favourite with music fans from across the country, with his set last year cementing his popularity at the festival once again.

Since releasing 'Acceptable In The 80s' back in 2006, Calvin has released five albums, and had Top 10 singles across the world, including some massive collaborations such as 'This Is What You Came For', with Rihanna and 'Outside' with Ellie Goulding.

Despite being known the world over for his huge dance tunes, in recent years Calvin Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, has been releasing music with a different vibe, including 'Feels' with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, and Big Sean, and 'Promises' with Sam Smith.

Calvin's most recent hit was 'Giant' with Rag 'n' Bone Man, which has earned him a 2020 BRIT Awards nomination for Song of the Year.

This latest festival announcement comes just days before Calvin is due to drop some new music which he began to tease last week. The DJ told his fans in a tweet that merchandise wasn't his 'focus', revealing 'you’ll get plenty of music though'.

He later revealed that the music would have a 'new vibe' for him. The 'Summer' DJ has since told fans the new music is called 'Hypnagogic (I Can't Wait)' and 'CP-1', sharing the artwork on his socials.

Creamfields returns to Daresbury in Cheshire from 27th – 30th August with Calvin Harris joining the previously announced line-up, which includes Armin van Buuren, Pendulum TRINITY, Camelphat, The Chainsmokers, and BICEP (Live). More artists are expected to be announced over the coming months.
