Westlife's Nicky Byrne dubs himself a 'lucky man' as he celebrates 19 years married

Just days after their first ever sold-out Wembley show, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne is celebrating his 19th wedding anniversary with his wife Georgina Ahern.

Nicky took to social media to pay tribute to Georgina, dubbing himself a 'lucky man'. He wrote: '19 years ago today I married the most incredible woman in the world. ❤️🖤🤍❤️ #Hot #Beautiful #Luckyman 🙏🏻 Three amazing kids later 💝 @georginaahernbyrne 💖'. (sic)

Fans and friends of the pair were quick to comment on the cute post, with one writing: 'Happy Anniversary Guys 😘😘😘😘'. Another wrote: 'Aaawwwnn happy Anniversaeyyyy for you both... much loveee !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️', with a third commenting: 'Happy 19th anniversary 💖 couple goals 💖 ❤️ xxxxxx 🍾 🥂 xxxx'. (sic)

Kian Egan's wife Jodi Albert also sent her love, writing: 'Happy Anniversary love birds 💕'. (sic)

After meeting when they were teenagers, Nicky and Georgina got married in August 2003, in a top secret ceremony attended by their close family and showbiz friends including Nadine Coyle, Louis Walsh and Kerry Katona.

The couple confirmed their wedding to the media at the time, with the statement: "Issued on behalf of Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern. Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern were married today in the Church of St Peter and St Paul, in the village of Gallardon, France. The couple would like to take this opportunity to thank their family, friends and fans for their support and good wishes on this happy day."

The couple went on to welcome three children together, Rocco, Jay and Gia.

Nicky is currently touring Europe alongside his Westlife band mates, with the 'Hello My Love' hit makers due to arrive in the UK in November.

As he was away for the couple's anniversary, Nicky was helped out by the crowd to express his love towards Georgina.

Sharing a video of the crowd in Denmark, Nicky wrote: 'And the crowd got in on the act too! “ Georgina - Nicky Loves You” 😂😂❤️❤️❤️ @georginaahernbyrne @roccobyrne1 @jay.byrne7 #Gia thank you Denmark 🇩🇰 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'. (sic)

He was due to start the tour in February 2023 but has postponed all of his UK tour dates due to ongoing health issues.

Sam Ryder - 'There's Nothing But Space, Man!'

Sam Ryder announced his 'There's Nothing But Space, Man!' tour in the summer of 2022. It will be his biggest tour to date and will see him performing across the UK, starting in Belfast on 17th March 2023, ending in Brighton on 5th April 2023.

KT Tunstall

To promote her new album 'NUT', Scottish singer KT Tunstall is doing a 16-date tour across the UK in February and March 2023.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles has announced an extension to 'Love On Tour', and he will be returning to the UK in May and June 2023. tickets are on sale now and you can buy them from Aloud.com

Mimi Webb

Mimi Webb has announced a UK and Ireland tour for April 2023, playing 14 dates. Tickets went on sale on Thursday 20th October from Aloud.com.

Olly Murs

Making his return to music, Olly Murs delighted fans by announcing he's heading back out on tour in April-May 2023, with dates in Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and more.

Taylor Swift

In the lead-up to her 'Midnights' album being released on 21st October, the official Taylor Swift website confirmed that the singer would be heading on a UK tour.


Although no exact dates were announced, they did reveal that fans that pre-ordered the album through the website would get an access code for the tour ticket pre-sale.

Lewis Capaldi

Following on from his return to music with 'Forget Me', Lewis Capaldi revealed his second album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' would be released on 19th May. At the same time, he revealed he would be heading on tour across the UK in January and February 2023.

Maroon 5

Maroon 5 are heading on tour across Europe and the UK in 2023. They have a huge show at The O2 in London on 3rd July.

Diversity - 'Supernova'

Britain's most-successful dance group, Diversity will be taking their all-new 'Supernova' tour on a 64-date run around the UK in 2023 and 2024.

Joel Corry - 2023 tour

Joel Corry will embark on his biggest tour yet in 2023, performing Belfast, Glasgow, and Cardiff, amongst other places.
