So Love Island 2019 is well and truly under way, and it's safe to say that it is living up to everything we could have wanted and more. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Wes Nelson shared his thoughts on a 'Love Island Legends' series, and we are TOTALLY backing it.

After an avid Love Island fan took to Instagram to share their idea, writing, '@ loveisland when we gonna see a 'legends' series?!' sic, the star re-posted the genuis brain wave adding, 'Jheez imagine!!!👀👀👀Massive thank you to everyone showing us guys love it doesn't go unnoticed' sic.

The original post tagged the 21-year-old's fellow 2018 Islanders, including his BFF Josh Denzel, Jack Fowler and, of course, Adam Collard. Along with the rest of us, Wes seems pretty keen on the idea! But we mean...who wouldn't?!

Fans are already shipping it, with plenty of the star's recent Instagram posts being flooded with comments about his appearance on the show. One fan wrote, 'Hey get Wes Nelson back in the Villa' sic, whilst another wrote, 'Please! Someone needs to liven the bloody place up!' sic.

Despite 'Love Island Legends' being nothing but a dream for the time being, it seems it may not be long before we see an awkward reunion between Wes and his former Love Island flame Megan Barton-Hanson...

Shortly after Megan was confirmed to appear on E4's reality show Celebs Go Dating, it was reported that Wes also 'signed up' for the show. AWKS.
