The 'Opposites Attract' singer gets an unusual 'thank you'.

So You Think You Can Dance contestant Chi Tahani impressed the judges in more ways than one on the American TV show.

Dancing to Beyoncé's 'Countdown' the 12-year-old's moves were so good the panel sent her straight through to the next round.

However while celebrating her victory by hugging the panel she couldn't contain her excitement - literally - as she was sick over Paula Abdul.

Unlucky Paula failed to spot Chi's universal code for 'I'm going to be sick', as her cheeks began to expand and she got a panicked look in her eyes, sending sick over the singer's jacket.

"It's ok honey, it's ok." Paula said, "I've never had anyone vomit on me like that!" as Chi whispered, "I'm so sorry!"

Later presenter Cat Deeley asked Chi about the unfortunate incident, "she hugged me too tight and all the happiness came out on her jacket" Chi replied.

If that's how she expresses happiness we might be keeping our distance! But well done Chi for getting through to the academy.
