WATCH: Benedict Cumberbatch, George Clooney & Emily Blunt read mean tweets from trolls
Andrew Garfield's is particularly harsh
The latest edition of Mean Tweets Live has aired Stateside with a whole plethora of A-list celebs reading out stinging comments written about them by Twitter trolls.
A long-running sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live, on last nightâs show British actor Benedict Cumberbatch was in stitches when he read out a tweet mocking his appearance.
The tweet read: âIf you find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive, Iâm guessing youâd quite enjoy staring directly at a catâs anus.â
In perfect response, Benedict turned to the camera and said âWell someone did and she put a ring on it!â
Emily Bluntâs mean tweet attacked her voice: âEmily Bluntâs eyes make up for that horrendous sound that comes out of her mouth #britishaccent.â
Particularly harsh was Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfieldâs tweet: âIs Andrew Garfield trying to do his utter best to look like a paedophile that lives in an RV.â Ouch.
That made George Clooneyâs mean tweet seem rather tame in comparison: âHey George Clooney, ur haircut suxz. Oh and so does ur sense of humor. Iâm on you all night f*** boyâĤâ
That other celebs that took part in the latest Mean Tweets Live are Jeff Bridges, Kristen Bell, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Bette Midler, Liam Neeson, Salma Hayek, Jack Black, Halle Berry, Tobey Maguire and Naomi Watts.
The first Mean Tweets aired in May 2012 and so far there have been 11 editions plus a President Barack Obama special and a NBA (National Basketball Association) edition.
