Vin Diesel pays tribute to Paul Walker at Teen Choice Awards
The actor paid tribute to Paul Walker and his goddaughter, Meadow, with an emotional speech
Vin Diesel took to the stage at Sunday's Teen Choice Awards to praise his late friend, Paul Walker, and his daughter and Diesel's goddaughter Meadow.
Diesel and his 'Furious 7' co-stars Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris took to the stage as they took home the award for Choice Movie: Action.
Addressing the crowd at the Galen Center in Los Angeles Diesel said of Paul, who in November 2013 tragically died in a car crash, "We are a true, true, true family. You fans have been so incredible to us and have encouraged us and made us reach higher each time.
He continued: "I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us. One of the best lessons in our lives is the fact that we had the opportunity call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us."

The actor praised Paul's family for helping them through the difficult time.
"And since this is a Teen Choice award, you beautiful teens, there is one teen in the audience that is a part of the family that kept us going," he said.
"It's Paul Walker's family – his parents and his brothers – that kept us encouraged while we were making Furious 7, but there is one very, very special teen here, and her name is Meadow Walker."

Paul Walker beat out competition from Ansel Elgort, Dylan O'Brien, Taylor Lautner, Theo James, and Vin Diesel to claim a posthumous gong for his performance in 'Furious 7.'
This isn't the first time Vin Diesel has taken to the stage to honour his "brother" Paul Walker. At the MTV awards he sang a short extract from the soundtrack to 'Furious 7' in dedication to the late star.
