We are all guilty of forgetting how long ago our favourite films came out and we definitely did that with The Holiday.

The festive classic came out in 2006 but every year is still a fan favourite, with its star-studded cast including Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black.

We've recently discovered that Miffy Englefield, who played Jude Law's six-year-old daughter Sophie in the film, is not only 21-years-old - but is also now a mum... And we feel VERY old!

The Holiday star shared an emotional post on her Instagram earlier this year announcing the arrival of her daughter to the world. Miffy shared a lovely photo of her and her daughter on her account with the lovely caption about the other side of Motherhood, including bags under her eyes and no makeup.

The Holiday actress said, "So here's a photo of me not looking my worst...but also not my best." Miffy also added "I don't mind how I look if I'm spending it with this babe next to me."

With a mutual disdain for the holidays, and assuring themselves that they have no romantic interest in the other, they make the perfect team.

Miffy's Instagram is super cute, with the former actress sharing pictures of herself and her daughter and their normal life. In another post Miffy, who says in her bio she is a 'punk parent in training' joked, "Promise I'm not gonna let this Instagram get too mumsy" when sharing another picture of her adorable little girl.

Miffy quit acting in her early teens but it turns out she is just like us when it comes to The Holiday, she told Fabulous, that every time the movie is on TV she “cracks up”.

When reminiscing on her time filming the Holiday, Miffy spoke about the Hollywood A-listers she was working with, “I didn’t know who Cameron and Jude were because I was six.” However she said that all of the cast were so nice to the child actors and how they had so much time for them, which makes us love the film even more.

She also revealed how Jude Law would give her acting tips on set – how cool is that?

You can now watch the Christmas classic on Netflix, so make sure you add it to your list to get in the festive spirit.
