Taylor Swift is currently on tour in the UK, but that doesn't stop her releasing music. She's recently collaborated with a country music duo called Sugarland. She features on their new song 'Babe' and in their music video which they dropped recently, with Taylor showing off a striking new hair colour.
In this video Taylor has swapped her usual blonde locks, for red hair, as she plays an early 1960s-inspired femme fatal. And, although temporary, this new look is has been an instant hit with fans. After just a day the music video is already trending on YouTube at number 2 and had over 1 million views!
Leaving comments on YouTube, fans said, 'Taylor can literally slay every hair color' sic and 'How does Taylor pull off every hair color?' sic, with another saying, 'I love this video! You look so gorgeous Tay Tay!!!'.
'Babe' was co-written by Taylor and Patrick Monahan from Train, however was originally set to feature on her 2012 album 'Red'. It was later decided not to include it on the album and it was later offer to Sugarland.
According to People, Taylor was the person to came up with the idea for the music video. “She actually reached out to us and said, ‘I’ve got a great idea for the video,’ and she wrote the treatment,” Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland said.
Kristian Bush, also of Sugarland then added, “And we looked at it and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this is awesome.'"
Taylor Swift is currently on the UK leg of her tour and last week wowed fans in Manchester performing some of her biggest hits alongside tracks from her current album 'reputation'. She also delighted fans with her performance of 'Shake It Off' joined by her support acts Camila Cabello and Charli XCX.
