Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash may have only welcomed baby Rex earlier this year in May, but Joe has revealed that the pair are already thinking about having another. Joe, who has son Harry from a previous relationship, and Stacey, who is mum to Leighton and Zachary from previous relationships, announced the birth of Rex on Instagram.

Joe shared a photo of Stacey with the little'un on her account, writing, 'This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world. We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.

'I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling. So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans. I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible. My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X'. sic

The loved-up couple are already thinking about adding to their family, as Joe told new! magazine that they were "tempted" to try for a girl, "I’d really love to have another child. I’m not the one to make that decision, so it’s up to Stacey.

"I’m quite a paternal person and I’ve got a big family and I love kids. We’ve not had a girl yet, so it’s tempting. We’re just going with the flow."

Former EastEnders and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Joe also opened up about life with little Rex, telling the publication, "He’s so lovely, he’s starting to smile and make little noises. Me and Stace thought it’s important to show it’s really difficult and hard and it’s not glamorous, but it’s the most amazing job in the world."

The 37-year-old also revealed that his son Harry was loving his little brother, "He loves him! He’s like me and he’s got a big paternal bone in him. He’s so good. All the kids help us out."

He added that even though the three older boys didn't get along at first, they're now all friends, "At the beginning, because they’re all of similar age, it was like survival of the fittest! It was like having a house full of dogs trying to find out what their hierarchy was. Now they all play well with each other and really get on."
