Mission Impossible actor and all round funny man, Simon Pegg, has shown off his incredible body transformation for his new movie Inheritance. The Hot Fuzz star replied to a post by personal trainer Nick Lower that showed the actor posing topless and showing off a very toned physique.

The original post read, '#SimonPegg 6 month body transformation for #InheritanceMovie. The brief for this role was lean, VERY lean. It required a specific body shape & look'. To which the Shaun of the Dead actor replied 'Also occasional mild grumpiness...😝💪🏻'.

Not much is known about Simon's new movie Inheritance, other than that he will play a character called Morgan and star alongside Lily Collins and Connie Nielsen. Simon captured the public's attention as star and co-creator of the Channel 4 sitcom Spaced. He then starred in the 'Cornetto film trilogy' alongside Nick Frost, which included Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World's End (2013). He's since become a Hollywood A-lister, starring in the Star Trek and Mission Impossible franchise.

We love a celebrity transformation. Whether they're completely changing up their hair, having cosmetic surgery or undergoing a dramatic weight loss, it's utterly fascinating to see how different people can look just by changing aspects of their appearance. One of those people is Ariana Grande, who has changed dramatically from her days on hit Nickelodeon TV show, Victorious, where she had to dye her hair red every week so that the show wasn't full of brunettes.
