RAYE, the singer known for her songs 'Decline' and 'You Don't Know Me', with Jax Jones, recently co-wrote a song for the one and only Beyoncé and she's opened up about the amazing experience.

As many will know, Beyoncé stars in the live-action remake of the classic film, The Lion King, and has also recorded an album 'The Gift' to accompany the film. The very talented RAYE just happened to work on one of the tracks for 'The Gift' and has recently opened up about working with the 'Halo' singer.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, RAYE said, "Beyoncé's a legend and for me to contribute 0.0000 of anything is crazy."

RAYE went on to say, "And more so she adores the song, we really got on like a house on fire which is absolutely nuts because that’s my idol."

The singer then reflected on the whole experience saying, "It’s reassuring because it’s like 'RAYE, you’re meant to be here' and I’m working with not only people that I looked up to but she’s a queen in everyone’s eyes so to have someone like her respect your work, perspective and opinion – wow."

As well being a talented singer, RAYE has written for a number of well-known acts in addition to Beyoncé including, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding and David Guetta.
